There is a huge push to make sure pedestrians are safe in crosswalks and AI hopes to do just that.

Congresswoman Dina Titus was able to get overone million dollars from Biden’s Infrastructure Bill.

Artificial intelligence will detect the appropriate amount of time needed to cross the street.

And will adjust based on traffic flow and pedestrian crossing volume.

The pilot will be along the Fremont Street Corridor, officials say.

A lot of skepticism but there was one other person who was on board with the idea as long as it kept people safe.

This new technology should be in place in early 2025.
