DALLAS (KDAF) — Many Americans are facing layoffs and looking for the next move in their career chapter. Over 84,638 job cut announcements were nationally reached in February, this is the highest since last March, according to routers.

Depending on the job field it can be competition, which for many is the downfall for why it hasn’t been so easy finding a job. But with the advancement of technology, a new tool has stepped in to help millions in their job search.

A new study reveals states are integrating the use of AI to help write and prepare their resumes. Ask Optimo, an AI-powered tool, examined data of search terms frequently used by people interested in AI helping them with their resumes. According to the study, these terms were combined to find each state’s average monthly search volume for AI-related resume terms per 100,000 people.

Vermont took the top spot as the state that is most likely to ask AI for help with their resumes. With 137 searches per 100,000 people, the state’s top searched terms are ‘Chatgpt edit resume’, ‘Automated CV’ and ‘AI-powered CV’.

Texas on the other hand placed at No. 23 with the state having low interaction when it came to searches surrounding AI help with resumes. The Longhorn State had 73 searches per 100,000 people.
