In my first year of teaching at Henderson Middle School, I had this skinny kid who stuck out intellectually. Yes, he was smart, but he also had an odd drive that, had I known what I know now, I would’ve said that one day I bet that kid from Jackson will defend his thesis in philosophy at the Ohio State University, and to make it a little more fun, I figure he’s probably some kinda expert on AI ethics.
If you haven’t noticed, AI has taken off in the last few months. It’s pretty obvious that it’s entering the realm of education, sometimes in good ways and sometimes, not so much.
