ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Nazareth University hosted an AI summit on the ethics of AI on Wednesday.

Some of the top minds in technology came together today at Nazareth University to trade knowledge about the fast-growing world of artificial intelligence.

Jeffery Allen, the Director of the Institute for Responsible Tech at Nazareth said, “With great power comes great responsibility well, I think the same could be said for AI. Essentially this is a transformational technology, probably the biggest will see within our lifetime. And so we need to be prepared for that and we need to think about all the things that are going to happen here in the near term.”

The school’s ‘Responsible AI’ summit consisted of presentations and panel discussions exploring the cutting edge of artificial intelligence while also emphasizing the importance of ethical innovation.
