NVIDIA RTX 4090Ti aka TITAN ADA aka never-released quad-slot GPU

Probably the most leaked NVIDIA graphics card that was never released.

There are quite recent speculations circulating about NVIDIA abandoning the idea of an RTX 4090 SUPER model. However, it remains uncertain whether this decision extends to the RTX 4090 Ti or TITAN ADA. The details are elusive, and only NVIDIA possesses the knowledge regarding the potential development of a more capable variant based on the AD102 GPU.

Several leaks have surfaced showcasing an alleged quad-slot RTX 40 cooler already, consistently lacking a visible PCB. It looks like there’s one exception, a sample that Redditor “gamer2live” got. It might be a first complete card with a riser and cooler attached. Notably, the card is labeled as RTX 4090, despite the cooler’s distinct TITAN series coloration.

Just like on previous samples, the card features a quad-slot design, with the PCB oriented perpendicularly to the motherboard slot, resulting in stacked display connectors. However, it is uncertain if this model has the PCB installed, as we can only see the PCIe interface sticking out, and let’s not forget that this interface is at a 90-degree angle.

While the source claims the card was obtained directly from an NVIDIA employee, it is difficult to believe that the company would just give away such samples to random people. The card has no doubt come from NVIDIA or a contractor responsible for the card’s assembly, though. The card was said to have a paper label that said ‘RTX 4090Ti’ but engineering samples commonly have such labels for prototypes. It is also a fact that NVIDIA was indecisive about the cooler, evident in its varied color options and labels, this one clearly inspired by the TITAN series.

Regrettably, the Redditor is currently unable to provide further details due to travel but promises additional information later. Despite being possibly the first sample featuring a fully assembled card, details remain scarce. The individual, who transitioned from gamer to leaker, is no longer replying to requests.

Ultimately, even if this is a full card with GPU, it will not function without operational drivers, but a community of modders be of help if that’s ever needed. One thing is certain, this spooky quad-slot prototype was too late for the Halloween party.
