Smartphones are getting more expensive each year. That’s why the best time to buy a new one is when they’re heavily discounted. If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, you’re in luck. Amazon’s Early Black Friday deals have a handful of excellent discounts on new smartphones, from major companies like Samsung, Google, and Motorola.
Google Pixel 8 Pro
The Pixel 8 Pro is the latest in Google’s Pixel series. The 8 Pro has a 6.7-inch Super Actua display that gets fairly bright and is powered by Google’s Tensor G3 chip. This SoC is responsible for powering all the AI features this particular Pixel is known for. For cameras, the Pixel 8 Pro has a 50MP main lens, 48MP ultrawide lens, and 48MP telephoto lens. There’s also a 10.5MP front-facing camera.

Google Pixel 8
Google’s other, smaller flagship phone, the Pixel 8, can also be found at a discount. The Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch Actua display and the phone uses the Tensor G3 chip like the Pixel 8 Pro. The cameras on the Pixel 8 include a 50MP main lens and 12MP ultrawide. There’s also a 10.5MP front-facing camera.

Google Pixel Fold
Earlier this year, Google launched the Pixel Fold, the company’s first foldable phone. The Fold has a 7.6-inch display when folded out, and a 5.8-inch cover screen to use when the phone is folded shut.
The Fold is powered by the Google Tensor G2 chip, the same one that’s featured in the Pixel 7 series. For cameras, the Pixel Fold has a 48MP main lens, 10.8 MP telephoto lens, and 10.8MP ultrawide lens, as well as an 8MP selfie camera.
The Pixel Fold is discounted by 22% on Amazon, making it just $1,399 (was $1,799).
Motorola Razr+
The Razr+ is Motorola’s current flagship foldable. The phone has a 6.9-inch folding display with a 3.6-inch external display. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. It has a 12MP main lens and a 13MP ultrawide. There’s also a 32MP selfie camera.

Alongside the Razr+, Motorola recently introduced a more affordable version of the phone, simply called the Motorola Razr. The Razr still features a 6.9-inch folding screen, but the external cover screen is only 1.5 inches. Powering the Razr is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip. For the cameras, there’s a 64MP main lens, 13MP ultrawide, and 32MP selfie cam.
The Motorola Razr is discounted at up to 29%, which prices the phone at $499 (was $699).
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone, sporting a 6.8-inch AMOLED display and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip. The phone comes with great cameras, with a 200MP main lens, 10MP periscope lens, 10MP telephoto lens and 12MP ultrawide camera. There’s also a 12MP selfie camera.
Right now, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is 25% off, bringing the price down to $899.99 (was $1,199.99) for the 256GB model. The 512GB option is $1,079.99 (normally $1,379.99).
