The recent report which surfaced on Monday, states that around 94 per cent of Indian service professionals have been using artificial intelligence (AI) and they further believe that the new technology saves their time during work. 

In a new report by Salesforce, it was stated that an enterprise software major about 89 per cent of service professionals at organisations with AI said that the technology helps them reduce costs.

Arun Kumar Parmeswaran, MD – Sales, Salesforce India said, “As customer expectations continue to increase, the benefits of AI are clear — increased productivity, cost reduction and improved customer experiences.”

“AI and Data are fueling the next level of customer experience, with AI proving its value with a variety of use cases, delivering unmatched value to customers while unlocking revenue-generating opportunities,” he added.

The report surveyed over 5,500 service professionals in 30 different countries, including 300 from India.

Moreover, the report found that 93 per cent of service organisations in the country plan to increase AI investments this year.

The top three service use cases for AI in the country include automated summaries and reports, Intelligent offers and recommendations, and Knowledge article creation.

Furthermore, the report also revealed that around 79 per cent of organisations in the country are expected service to contribute more revenue by this year (2024).

Recently, it was reported that South Korea is planning to invest around 710.2 billion (USD 526.9 million) into government projects which aim to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into daily life. The Ministry of Science and ICT further confirmed the move made by the company and revealed that the AI Strategy High-Level Consultative Council has approved the investment plan. The funds will support 69 AI projects across various sectors, to ensure that the public experiences the advantages of AI technology in their everyday activities.
